100 Mile House Bears

The 100 Mile House Bears Hockey Club was formed in 2000. It joined the CIHL that same year. In its first year of existence the Bears beat the Williams Lake Stampeders 2 games to 1 to advance to the Coy Cup. In the Coy Cup the Bears fell to the New West Beavers loosing two games straight.

In the 2001-2002 season the 100 Mile House Bears again advanced to the Coy Cup. The Coy Cup was hosted by the CIHL that year and the Bears finished fourth in the tournament.

In 2002 the 100 Mile House Bears dropped out of the CIHL and played as an independent team. After beating Kamloops 2 games to 1 to get to the Coy Cup in Trail the bears finished fourth.

The hockey club continued to operate as an independent team in 2003. The bears once again joined the CIHL in the 2004 season.
